AC Shadows Reveals Bizarre AoT Event for Thanksgiving

In a surprising partnership that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Extra Features

Players who finish the mission will obtain an unique katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Addition

This release also adds the game's third no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement." True to its name, "The Mystery" also contains a original environmental puzzle that may eventually shed light on some unresolved questions from the main storyline.
